| An attacker that can send mail to a user can craft a message whose headers contain a very large number of email addresses or MIME parameters, which causes excessive memory usage when the message is later parsed. The message is still delivered, but reading it over IMAP can exhaust the memory limit of the process and terminate it, causing denial of service for the affected user. Update to non-vulnerable version. No publicly available exploits are known. |
| An attacker that can send mail to a user can craft a message header whose values are chosen to collide in an internal hash table, which makes the IMAP THREAD command consume CPU disproportionate to the size of the message. This is a separate issue from CVE-2026-40014 and is not addressed by that fix. Whenever a mail client issues a THREAD command on the affected mailbox, this can cause degradation or denial of service for IMAP. Monitor system for abnormal CPU usage, kill the offending process and remove the offending message from the affected mailbox. Update to non-vulnerable version. | Sieve CPU resource usage is tracked in the compiled script, so an attacker that has valid credentials can reset the accounting by repeatedly changing the active script. Compiled script files are also not removed when a script is deleted or renamed. The configured Sieve CPU limit can be bypassed, allowing sustained CPU consumption, and the leftover files increase disk consumption. Both can cause degradation of service for mail delivery. An attacker may be able to send a compressed request that when decompressed by AIOHTTP could exhaust the host's memory. This issue is fixed in version 3.13.3. |
| HTML::FormFu versions through 2.08 for Perl allow resource exhaustion via an unbounded repeat count from the query string in Repeatable elements.
When a Repeatable element has counter_name set, its process method reads the repeat count from the named query string parameter, checks only that it is a positive integer, and passes it to repeat, which deep-clones the element's child subtree once per iteration. Nothing caps the value, and no attribute lets an application impose a limit.
The count is read on every request, before the form decides whether it was submitted, so a plain GET reaches the clone loop with no credentials, no session and no request body. Nesting multiplies: a Repeatable inside a Repeatable takes a counter at each level, so an outer and an inner value of 100 build 10,000 clones.
Once the form is submitted, each cloned field's constraints scan the whole element tree in _find_field_value, so cost grows faster than linearly with the count. A single request exhausts memory and CPU.
The latest release on CPAN is 2.07, from 2018. Version 2.08 exists only in the git repository. |

| dd-trace-rs provides Datadog application performance monitoring for Rust. From 0.1.0 until 0.3.3, datadog-opentelemetry/src/propagation/tracecontext.rs parses the W3C tracestate header and collects every semicolon-separated key and value pair in the Datadog dd=... vendor entry into a HashMap without enforcing a pair count or entry size limit. Because tracecontext extraction is enabled by default, a remote unauthenticated attacker can send an arbitrarily large dd=... entry and force excessive CPU and memory consumption for each request, causing denial of service in an instrumented network service. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.3.3. |
