CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in Evolution. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted HTML email containing a spoofed vCard control. When a victim clicks on this control, Evolution's trusted JavaScript handler incorrectly assigns an attacker-controlled JavaScript URL to an iframe's source. This action leads to arbitrary JavaScript execution within the mail-viewing context, effectively bypassing the security measures designed to prevent script execution in email content. |
| Acrobat Reader is affected by an Access of Resource Using Incompatible Type ('Type Confusion') vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
| Multiple flaws have been identified in `named` related to the handling of DNS messages whose CLASS is not Internet (`IN`) — for example, `CHAOS` or `HESIOD`, or DNS messages that specify meta-classes (`ANY` or `NONE`) in the question section. Specially crafted requests reaching the affected code paths — recursion, dynamic updates (`UPDATE`), zone change notifications (`NOTIFY`), or processing of `IN`-specific record types in non-`IN` data — can cause assertion failures in `named`.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.48, 9.20.0 through 9.20.22, 9.21.0 through 9.21.21, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.16.50-S1, 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.48-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.22-S1. |

| Access of resource using incompatible type ('type confusion') in Windows Performance Monitor allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Type confusion in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to read memory inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Access of resource using incompatible type ('type confusion') in Microsoft Office PowerPoint allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| Type confusion in Rust in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |

| Type confusion in XML in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| In OpenStack Keystone before 29.0.3, any authenticated user holding role:reader on any project can list every project-scoped role assignment under any domain by passing a domain ID as scope.project.id with include_subtree to the GET /v3/role_assignments endpoint. The domain's project record has domain_id=null, causing the policy domain_id check to pass for any caller. With include_names, the response discloses the names and home-domain IDs of every user, group, project, and role involved. The literal "default" domain ID works against any deployment created with keystone-manage bootstrap. An attacker can harvest domain IDs from the response and repeat the query to map role assignments across the entire cloud. This is caused by misuse of "None" in
list_role_assignments_for_tree. |
| Access of resource using incompatible type ('type confusion') in Windows DHCP Server allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network. |
| A security issue was discovered in MongoDB where an authenticated user with readWrite privileges could crash the mongod server process. By specifying a custom WiredTiger storage configuration option with an incompatible value during collection creation, a user could cause a type confusion in the storage engine layer. When documents were subsequently read from the misconfigured collection, the resulting mismatch in expected data format led to corrupted memory interpretation and a server crash. The crafted collection configuration persists across restarts, requiring manual operator intervention to remediate. |
| RouterOS SSH enters the connection protocol after a client-requested rekey even though user authentication was never attempted, allowing an unauthenticated client to open a session channel and send an exec request. On affected builds the server dispatches the command, enabling unauthenticated creation, overwrite, and reconstruction of files in the RouterOS managed file namespace, including support files containing configuration and diagnostic data. This issue was fixed in versions: 6.49.21 (Long-term), 7.23.4 (Long-term) and 7.24.2 (Stable) |
| Type confusion in Compositing in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.82 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
flow_dissector: do not dissect PPPoE PFC frames
RFC 2516 Section 7 states that Protocol Field Compression (PFC) is NOT
RECOMMENDED for PPPoE. In practice, pppd does not support negotiating
PFC for PPPoE sessions, and the flow dissector driver has assumed an
uncompressed frame until the blamed commit.
During the review process of that commit [1], support for PFC is
suggested. However, having a compressed (1-byte) protocol field means
the subsequent PPP payload is shifted by one byte, causing 4-byte
misalignment for the network header and an unaligned access exception
on some architectures.
The exception can be reproduced by sending a PPPoE PFC frame to an
ethernet interface of a MIPS board, with RPS enabled, even if no PPPoE
session is active on that interface:

| In Power HAL, there is a possible escalation of privilege due to type confusion. This could lead to local escalation of privilege if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS11165543; Issue ID: MSV-9012. |
| A vulnerability has been found in HKUDS AI-Trader up to d03ff6c056b32ced735adf7c19ed8175adb1c8df. The affected element is an unknown function of the file service/server/routes_agent.py of the component selfRegister API Endpoint. Such manipulation of the argument initial_balance leads to business logic errors. The attack may be launched remotely. This attack is characterized by high complexity. The exploitability is described as difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This product operates on a rolling release basis, ensuring continuous delivery. Consequently, there are no version details for either affected or updated releases. profit_percent_for_display() divides by INITIAL_CAPITAL + deposited, and challenge scoring's return_pct also normalises against the attacker-inflated starting_cash. So an inflated initial_balance does not yield artificial percent returns - it inflates the absolute cash/equity column only, which is a cosmetic/leaderboard-gaming concern in a simulated game. |
