CVSS v3.1 |
| Improper authentication in Windows Storage allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| A vulnerability was identified in Unidocs ezPDF DRM Reader and ezPDF Reader 2.0/3.0.0.4. This affects an unknown part in the library SHFOLDER.dll. Such manipulation leads to uncontrolled search path. The attack needs to be performed locally. Attacks of this nature are highly complex. It is indicated that the exploitability is difficult. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. Upgrading the affected component is recommended. The vendor explains: "[W]e have already addressed similar DLL search path vulnerability patterns through prior security updates. (...) Users are advised to use the latest version provided by the vendor." |
| The application's update service, when checking for updates, loads certain system libraries from a search path that includes directories writable by low‑privileged users and is not strictly restricted to trusted system locations. Because these libraries may be resolved and loaded from user‑writable locations, a local attacker can place a malicious library there and have it loaded with SYSTEM privileges, resulting in local privilege escalation and arbitrary code execution. |
| IObit Advanced SystemCare 10.0.2 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the AdvancedSystemCareService10 service that allows local attackers to escalate privileges. Attackers can place a malicious executable in the service path and trigger privilege escalation when the service restarts or the system reboots, executing code with LocalSystem privileges. |
| Serviio PRO 1.8 contains an unquoted search path vulnerability in the Windows service that allows local users to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges by placing malicious executables in the system root path. Additionally, improper directory permissions with full access for the Users group allow authenticated users to replace the executable file with arbitrary binaries, enabling privilege escalation during service startup or system reboot. |
| In WODESYS WD-R608U router (also known as WDR122B V2.0 and WDR28) an unauthorised user can view configuration files by directly referencing the resource in question.
The vendor was notified early about this vulnerability, but didn't respond with the details of vulnerability or vulnerable version range. Only version WDR28081123OV1.01 was tested and confirmed as vulnerable, other versions were not tested and might also be vulnerable. |
| There is an Unquoted Service Path Vulnerability in some HikCentral FocSign versions. This could allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| OKI Configuration Tool 1.6.53 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the OKI Local Port Manager service that allows local attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in 'C:\Program Files\Okidata\Common\extend3\portmgrsrv.exe' to inject malicious executables and escalate privileges. |
| OSAS Traverse Extension 11 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the TravExtensionHostSvc service running with LocalSystem privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path to inject and execute malicious code by placing executable files in the service's path, potentially gaining elevated system access. |
| eBeam Education Suite 2.5.0.9 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the eBeam Device Service that allows local users to potentially execute code with elevated privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in the service configuration to inject malicious code that would execute with LocalSystem privileges during service startup. |
| VIVE Runtime Service 1.0.0.4 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability that allows local users to execute arbitrary code with elevated system privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted binary path by placing malicious executables in specific system directories to gain LocalSystem access during service startup. |
| A DLL Hijacking caused by drive remapping combined with a poisoning of the activation cache in Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2022 allows a malicious authenticated attacker to elevate from a medium integrity process to a high integrity process without the intervention of a UAC prompt. |
| Local privilege escalation due to unquoted search path vulnerability. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Agent (Windows) before build 39378. |
| Uncontrolled search path for some Intel(R) Quartus(R) Prime Software before version 23.1.1 Patch 1.01std may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Uncontrolled search path for some Intel(R) Computing Improvement Program software before version 2.4.0.10654 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| The service Bizerba Communication Server (BCS) has an unquoted service path. Due to the way Windows searches the executable for the BCS service, malicious programs can be executed. |
| When the service of ABP and AES is installed in a directory writable by non-administrative users, an attacker can replace or plant a DLL with the same name as one loaded by the service. Upon service restart, the malicious DLL is loaded and executed under the LocalSystem account, resulting in unauthorized code execution with elevated privileges.
This issue affects ABP and AES: from ABP 2.0 through 2.0.7.9050, from AES 1.0 through 1.0.6.8290. |
| WIN-PACK PRO 4.8 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the GuardTourService that allows local users to potentially execute code with elevated system privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in C:\Program Files <x86>\WINPAKPRO\WP GuardTour Service.exe to inject malicious code that would execute during service startup. |
| Brother BRAdmin Professional 3.75 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the BRA_Scheduler service that allows local users to potentially execute arbitrary code. Attackers can place a malicious executable named 'BRAdmin' in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Brother\ directory to gain local system privileges. |
| The installer of WTW EAGLE (for Windows) 3.0.8.0 contains an issue with the DLL search path, which may lead to insecurely loading Dynamic Link Libraries. As a result, arbitrary code may be executed with the privileges of the running application. |
