CVSS v3.1 |
| Epic Games Psyonix Rocket League <=1.95 contains an insecure permissions vulnerability that allows authenticated users to modify executable files with full access permissions. Attackers can leverage the 'F' (Full) flag for the 'Authenticated Users' group to change executable files and potentially escalate system privileges. |
| NodeBB Plugin Emoji 3.2.1 contains an arbitrary file write vulnerability that allows administrative users to write files to arbitrary system locations through the emoji upload API. Attackers with admin access can craft file upload requests with directory traversal to overwrite system files by manipulating the file path parameter. |
| Hestia Control Panel 1.3.2 contains an arbitrary file write vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to write files to arbitrary locations using the API index.php endpoint. Attackers can exploit the v-make-tmp-file command to write SSH keys or other content to specific file paths on the server. |
| ActiveSupport::EncryptedFile writes contents that will be encrypted to a
temporary file. The temporary file's permissions are defaulted to the user's
current `umask` settings, meaning that it's possible for other users on the
same system to read the contents of the temporary file.
Attackers that have access to the file system could possibly read the contents
of this temporary file while a user is editing it.
All users running an affected release should either upgrade or use one of the
workarounds immediately. |
| An unauthenticated file deletion vulnerability in the Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS management web interface enables an unauthenticated attacker with network access to the management web interface to delete certain files as the “nobody” user; this includes limited logs and configuration files but does not include system files.
You can greatly reduce the risk of this issue by restricting access to the management web interface to only trusted internal IP addresses according to our recommended best practices deployment guidelines https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/community-blogs/tips-amp-tricks-how-to-secure-the-management-access-of-your-palo/ba-p/464431 .
This issue does not affect Cloud NGFW or Prisma Access software. |
| Wondershare MirrorGo 2.0.11.346 contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability due to incorrect file permissions on executable files. Unprivileged local users can replace the ElevationService.exe with a malicious file to execute arbitrary code with LocalSystem privileges. |
| Foxit PDF Reader < 4.3.1.0218 exposes a JavaScript API function, createDataObject(), that allows untrusted PDF content to write arbitrary files anywhere on disk. By embedding a malicious PDF that calls this API, an attacker can drop executables or scripts into privileged folders, leading to code execution the next time the system boots or the user logs in. |
| From the VSPC management agent machine, under condition that the management agent is authorized on the server, it is possible to remove arbitrary files on the VSPC server machine. |
| Improper input validation in the OSSEC HIDS agent for Windows prior to version 3.8.0 allows an attacker in with control over the OSSEC server or in possession of the agent's key to configure the agent to connect to a malicious UNC path. This results in the leakage of the machine account NetNTLMv2 hash, which can be relayed for remote code execution or used to escalate privileges to SYSTEM via AD CS certificate forging and other similar attacks. |
| Docker Desktop for Windows contains multiple incorrect permission assignment vulnerabilities in the installer's handling of the C:\ProgramData\DockerDesktop directory. The installer creates this directory without proper ownership verification, creating two exploitation scenarios:
Scenario 1 (Persistent Attack):
If a low-privileged attacker pre-creates C:\ProgramData\DockerDesktop before Docker Desktop installation, the attacker retains ownership of the directory even after the installer applies restrictive ACLs. At any time after installation completes, the attacker can modify the directory ACL (as the owner) and tamper with critical configuration files such as install-settings.json to specify a malicious credentialHelper, causing arbitrary code execution when any user runs Docker Desktop.
Scenario 2 (TOCTOU Attack):
During installation, there is a time-of-check-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition between when the installer creates C:\ProgramData\DockerDesktop and when it sets secure ACLs. A low-privileged attacker actively monitoring for the installation can inject malicious files (such as install-settings.json) with attacker-controlled ACLs during this window, achieving the same code execution outcome. |
| Affected devices create coredump files when crashed, storing them with world-readable permission. Any local user of the device can examine the coredump files, and research the memory contents. As for the details of affected product names, model numbers, and versions, refer to the information provided by the respective vendors listed under [References]. |
| The Marathon UI in DC/OS < 1.9.0 allows unauthenticated users to deploy arbitrary Docker containers. Due to improper restriction of volume mount configurations, attackers can deploy a container that mounts the host's root filesystem (/) with read/write privileges. When using a malicious Docker image, the attacker can write to /etc/cron.d/ on the host, achieving arbitrary code execution with root privileges. This impacts any system where the Docker daemon honors Marathon container configurations without policy enforcement. |
| Freedombox before 25.17.1 does not set proper permissions for the backups-data directory, allowing the reading of dump files of databases. |
| An External Control of File Name or Path vulnerability in smb4k allowsl ocal users to perform a local root exploit via smb4k mounthelper if they can access and control the contents of a Samba shareThis issue affects smb4k: from ? before 4.0.5. |
| PrivateBin is an online pastebin where the server has zero knowledge of pasted data. Starting in version 1.7.7 and prior to version 2.0.3, an unauthenticated Local File Inclusion exists in the template-switching feature. If `templateselection` is enabled in the configuration, the server trusts the `template` cookie and includes the referenced PHP file. An attacker can read sensitive data or, if they manage to drop a PHP file elsewhere, gain remote code execution. The constructed path of the template file is checked for existence, then included. For PrivateBin project files this does not leak any secrets due to data files being created with PHP code that prevents execution, but if a configuration file without that line got created or the visitor figures out the relative path to a PHP script that directly performs an action without appropriate privilege checking, those might execute or leak information. The issue has been patched in version 2.0.3. As a workaround, set `templateselection = false` (which is the default) in `cfg/conf.php` or remove it entirely |
| Mockoon provides way to design and run mock APIs. Prior to version 9.2.0, a mock API configuration for static file serving follows the same approach presented in the documentation page, where the server filename is generated via templating features from user input is vulnerable to Path Traversal and LFI, allowing an attacker to get any file in the mock server filesystem.
The issue may be particularly relevant in cloud hosted server instances. Version 9.2.0 fixes the issue. |
| On affected platforms, restricted users could use SSH port forwarding to access host-internal services |
| On affected platforms, a restricted user could break out of the CLI sandbox to the system shell and elevate their privileges. |
| Cognex In-Sight Explorer and In-Sight Camera Firmware expose
a telnet-based service
on port 23 to allow management operations such as firmware upgrades and
device reboots, which require authentication. A user with protected
privileges can successfully invoke the SetSerialPort functionality to
modify relevant device properties (such as serial interface settings),
contradicting the security model proposed in the user manual. |
| Incorrect permission assignment for critical resource issue exists in SS1 Ver.16.0.0.10 and earlier (Media version:16.0.0a and earlier), which may allow users who can log in to a client terminal to obtain root privileges. |
