CVSS v3.1 |
| Grav API Plugin is a RESTful API for Grav CMS that provides full headless access to your site's content. Prior to 1.0.0-rc.16, the Grav API plugin JwtAuthenticator::extractBearerToken() accepts a JWT from the token URL query parameter on every /api/v1 route, including state-changing endpoints. Request URLs consequently expose valid access tokens through Apache, proxy, and CDN logs, browser history, and Referer headers, allowing a party with access to those records to reuse the token with the owner's API privileges. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0-rc.16. |
| BBOT's unarchive module rejects archives containing symlink entries before extraction, but for zip and 7z archives it failed to detect symlinks whose listing carries a DOS-attribute prefix before the unix mode, as produced by legacy versions of p7zip. Such an archive, downloaded and extracted during a scan (for example via filedownload), bypassed the guard and caused an attacker-controlled symlink to be written into the extraction directory. The effect is limited to planting the symlink (its target is not written through), and only hosts using such a legacy p7zip build are affected; current mainline 7-Zip is not. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: nl80211: free RNR data on MBSSID mismatch
nl80211_parse_beacon() rejects EMA RNR data when there are fewer RNR
entries than MBSSID entries.
The rejected RNR allocation has not been attached to the beacon data yet,
so free it before returning the error. |
| Windows Update Stack Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability |
| An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists in Microsoft Windows when Folder redirection has been enabled via Group Policy. When folder redirection file server is co-located with Terminal server, an attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability would be able to begin redirecting another user's personal data to a created folder.
To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker can create a new folder under the Folder Redirection root path and create a junction on a newly created User folder. When the new user logs in, Folder Redirection would start redirecting to the folder and copying personal data.
This elevation of privilege vulnerability can only be addressed by reconfiguring Folder Redirection with Offline files and restricting permissions, and NOT via a security update for affected Windows Servers. See the FAQ section of this CVE for configuration guidance. |

| PAX Technology Q80 AIP File Parsing Link Following Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of PAX Technology Q80. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of AIP files. By creating a symbolic link, an attacker can abuse the installer process to write arbitrary files. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-30583. |

| OpenTofu before 1.11.7 fails to validate existing symlinks in the provider cache directory during initialization. Attackers can place a malicious symlink in a trusted working directory to cause tofu init to write provider package contents to arbitrary filesystem locations outside the working tree. |
| rsync before 3.5.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows remote clients to access files outside the intended module root when use chroot is disabled and the module root path or a component of it is a symlink. The daemon calls chdir() to the module root at session initialization without resolving symlinks via realpath() or equivalent, causing subsequent relative-path operations to reference files relative to the symlink target rather than the intended module root, enabling unauthorized file access. |
| filebrowser versions before 2.63.19 contain an out-of-scope file deletion vulnerability in the TUS upload cache eviction mechanism that allows authenticated users with only Create permission to delete arbitrary files outside their scope. Attackers can swap an ancestor directory with a symlink during the cache TTL window to redirect the raw os.Remove call to an out-of-scope target, bypassing ScopedFs scope guards and Perm.Delete checks. |
| rsync before 3.5.0 contains an arbitrary file write vulnerability that allows attackers to write files outside the intended destination tree by specifying an absolute path via --temp-dir or --link-dest options. The rename-confinement logic is bypassed when these options resolve to paths outside the destination tree, enabling attacker-controlled values to write files to arbitrary locations accessible to the rsync process. |
