CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw has been found in IObit Uninstaller 15.5.0.11. This affects the function IRP_MJ_DEVICE_CONTROL in the library IUForceDelete.sys of the component IOCTL Handler. Executing a manipulation can lead to improper privilege management. The attack requires local access. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A vulnerability was found in Colorful iGameCenter 2.0.0.81. This vulnerability affects the function sub_11504 in the library WinRing0x64.sys of the component IOCTL Dispatch. Performing a manipulation of the argument PhysicalAddress/AlignNumer/AlignSize results in improper privilege management. Attacking locally is a requirement.
A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5. A malicious app may be able to enumerate installed apps.
Improper privilege management in Regional Capabilities in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted Chrome extension. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
Improper privilege management in FileSystem in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A flaw was found in the LDAP storage provider of Keycloak, which is used to federate user identities from external directories. The issue occurs when a delegated administrator performs a search using a specific LDAP entry Distinguished Name (DN). Due to missing validation, the system allows lookups for users located outside the configured search boundary, leading to the disclosure of account information from unauthorized parts of the directory and unintended importing of those users into local storage.
The Uix UserCenter WordPress plugin through 1.0.3 does not verify that the account being modified through an unauthenticated profile-update action belongs to the requester, and it authenticates that action with a token whose signing key is hardcoded and identical across every install, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a token for any user, overwrite an administrator's email and password, and take over the account.
Vulnerability in the Oracle Virtual Directory product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Virtual Directory Server). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via LDAP to compromise Oracle Virtual Directory. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Virtual Directory. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).
Vulnerability in the Helidon product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Imperative Web Server). Supported versions that are affected are 1.0.0-1.4.18, 3.0.0-3.2.17 and 4.0.0-4.4.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTPS to compromise Helidon. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Helidon accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Helidon accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N).
The ShopEngine Elementor WooCommerce Builder Addon – All in One WooCommerce Solution plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.4. This is due to the `rum_importer()` function being registered on the WordPress core `import_start` action hook with no plugin-owned capability check and no allowlist filtering, causing arbitrary `<wp_option>` name/value pairs parsed from an attacker-supplied WXR import file to be passed directly to `update_option()`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Shop Manager-level access and above, to write arbitrary WordPress options — most critically setting `users_can_register` to `1` and `default_role` to `administrator` — enabling open self-registration of Administrator accounts and full site takeover. This is exploitable by Shop Manager-level users because WooCommerce grants that role the `import` capability, allowing it to reach the WordPress Importer flow that fires the `import_start` hook on which `rum_importer()` is registered, contrary to the assumption that the hook is restricted to Administrators.
Permission control vulnerability in the notification module. Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect availability.
Improper privilege management in Actor in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
Grav API Plugin versions before 1.0.10 fail to validate the groups field in InvitationsController::create(), allowing authenticated api.users.write callers to assign invited accounts to groups that grant api.super permissions. Attackers can create invitation records with elevated group membership, and when accepted, the new account gains full super-admin API access without the inviter holding those permissions.
The Ultimate Member WordPress plugin before 2.13.0 does not validate a submitted role selection when it cannot resolve the set of roles a profile form permits, and screens the value against the site's registered role names rather than against the form's own allow-list, allowing unauthenticated users who register through the Ultimate Member WordPress plugin before 2.13.0's own form to grant themselves arbitrary capabilities and reach administrator-equivalent access.
The User Registration & Membership WordPress plugin before 5.2.6 does not perform a capability check when saving its login settings, allowing authenticated users who have been granted a User Registration & Membership WordPress plugin before 5.2.6 management capability but not full administrator access to change arbitrary site options and escalate their privileges to administrator.
WatchGuard Dimension records unredacted session identifiers for logged-in users in its web UI diagnostic log. A low-privileged Dimension Administrator can retrieve this log and extract a Super Administrator's session token while that administrator is logged in, enabling account takeover.
| Affected versions of Flowintel contain an authorization flaw in the administrative user-edit API.
The existing authorization check correctly prevented an organization administrator from editing users in another organization, but it did not prevent them from editing a full administrator within their own organization. As a result, an org admin could modify that full administrator account, including changing its password. The upstream commit explicitly describes the issue as:
“Org admin can change the password of a full admin in the same organization.”
The fix adds a higher-privilege boundary check:
if user_to_edit.is_admin(): return ... 403
so organization administrators can no longer modify full administrator accounts.
Version impacted >=3.3.0 |
Improper privilege management in Navigation in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process and leveraged social engineering to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A flaw has been found in Open5GS 2.8.0. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the component AMF UEContextReleaseRequest Path Handler. Executing a manipulation can lead to improper authorization. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could move files that the user account running Splunk Enterprise can read into a lookup that the user controls. The user could then access all relevant data and affect system integrity and availability on the search head. The vulnerability is possible because the lookup configuration endpoint does not resolve lookup source paths before checking whether they stay inside the allowed lookup staging area. For more information see About lookups (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/manage-knowledge-objects/knowledge-management-manual/10.4/use-lookups-in-splunk-web/about-lookups) and Define roles on the Splunk platform with capabilities (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.4/manage-splunk-platform-users-and-roles/define-roles-on-the-splunk-platform-with-capabilities) in the Splunk documentation.
