CVSS v3.1 |
| An arbitrary code execution vulnerability in Mistral Vibe allows an attacker to bypass command permission checks using shell constructs it's parser cannot interpret. Unparsed portions are omitted from inspection, enabling embedded commands to execute on the user's system without approval. |
| a-blog cms Ver. 3.2.33 and earlier contains a path traversal vulnerability, which allows an unauthenticated attacker to read or delete arbitrary files on the affected product. |
| An arbitrary file read vulnerability in Mistral Vibe, introduced in version 2.6.0, allows an attacker to bypass workspace restrictions using quoted absolute paths in allowlisted shell commands. Improper handling of quotation marks during path validation enables files outside the active workspace to be read without user approval. |
| An arbitrary file write vulnerability in Mistral Vibe, introduced in version 1.3.4, allows an attacker to create or overwrite files outside the active workspace without user approval. Shell redirection destinations are omitted from permission checks, enabling otherwise allowlisted commands to write to arbitrary paths accessible to the Vibe process. |
| A path traversal vulnerability in LXD allows an attacker to manipulate file system paths during backup import and restore operations. When importing or restoring a backup archive, LXD fails to validate instance and storage volume names contained within the archive metadata. An attacker can exploit this flaw by supplying a crafted backup archive with malicious instance or volume names containing path traversal sequences, potentially allowing file access or overwriting outside the designated restore directory. |
| A path traversal vulnerability in LXD's instance template processing allows an attacker with container edit permissions, or any user launching a crafted image, to overwrite arbitrary files on the host system as root. When processing target template paths specified in metadata.yaml, LXD validates the path against a confined os.Root directory handle but subsequently opens and creates the file using os.Create with an unconfined string path. This discrepancy between path resolution checks and file creation allows an attacker to escape directory confinement, overwrite root-owned host files, and achieve host root code execution. |
| IBM DataStage on Cloud Pak for Data 5.4.0.0 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service due to a path traversal vulnerability. |
| DataCube contained a path traversal issue affecting security feature enforcement. Software customers upgrade to resolved maintenance release. Update Content Extractor and Index Store. |
| Tanium addressed a path traversal vulnerability in Comply. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Studio Wombat Advanced Product Fields Extended for WooCommerce allows Path Traversal.
This issue affects Advanced Product Fields Extended for WooCommerce: from n/a through 3.1.6. |
| Path Traversal in avatar attachments in Docmost v0.21.0 allows an unauthenticated malicious actor to disclose local files via a POST Request in a public url. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in GIS Informatics GisLab Laboratory Management System allows Path Traversal.
This issue affects GisLab Laboratory Management System: from 1.4.03 before 1.5. |
| knowns through 0.33.0 fails to properly validate template destination paths in the code generation template engine, allowing attackers to read and write arbitrary files outside the project root. Attackers can supply malicious templates that traverse directories to overwrite shell profiles, steal credentials, or achieve persistent code execution on victim systems. |
| Subscriber Arbitrary File Download in Youzify <= 1.3.7 versions. |
| knowns through 0.33.0 fails to confine the path argument of the code.find MCP tool to the project root, allowing AI agent sessions to read source files anywhere on the host. Attackers can supply absolute paths or relative traversal sequences to the path argument and retrieve full file contents from outside the intended project directory. |
| knowns through 0.33.0 fails to validate the path query parameter in the workspace browse endpoint, allowing remote attackers to enumerate arbitrary directories on the host filesystem. Attackers can traverse the directory structure to locate project directories and identify targets for further exploitation. |
| rclone is a command-line program to sync files and directories to and from different cloud storage providers. From 1.72.0 until 1.75.1, the archive ZIP backend method (*Fs).readZip in backend/archive/zip/zip.go accepts archive/zip.File.Name values from an untrusted central directory and exposes cleaned entry names without ensuring that they remain inside the archive namespace. Entries such as ../../etc/cron.d/evil can survive path.Clean and become Object.Remote() values that fs/sync and fs/operations use as destination-relative paths, allowing rclone copy or sync to write outside the selected destination on backends that do not independently confine the path. The non-empty root check also used strings.HasPrefix without a path boundary, so root foo could incorrectly include sibling foobar entries. This issue is fixed in version 1.75.1. |
| rclone is a command-line program to sync files and directories to and from different cloud storage providers. Prior to 1.75.1, rclone core does not reject parent-directory segments in source Object.Remote() values before fs/list, fs/walk, fs/sync, and fs/operations pass those values to destination backends. A flat-keyspace source object store populated with native non-rclone tooling can contain a raw .. key segment, and affected b2, swift, qingstor, oracleobjectstorage, internetarchive, smb, storj, sftp, webdav, ftp, filelu, shade, and sia destinations use path.Join(root, remote) before EncodeDot can neutralize the segment. A copy or upload can therefore escape the configured root into another bucket, share, or path reachable by the victim credential, with sftp and smb potentially reaching other filesystem or share locations under the same login authority. This issue is fixed in version 1.75.1. |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5, a malicious rule could potentially overwrite any file on the file system on rule load or reload. Versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5 fix the issue. Some workarounds are available. Preprocess `load`+ `save` rules to disallow absolute filenames for save, use Suricata's privilege dropping to limit writable files, and/or configure landlock in suricata.yaml. |
| psd-tools is a Python package for working with Adobe Photoshop PSD files. Prior to version 1.17.1, `SmartObject.save()` writes an embedded smart object to a path taken verbatim from the PSD file. Because that name is attacker-controlled and unsanitised, a tool that extracts embedded objects from an untrusted `.psd` can be made to write attacker-chosen bytes to an attacker-chosen path (absolute or `../`-traversing), outside its intended output directory. A secondary issue in `SmartObject.open()` for external-kind smart objects allows the attacker-controlled `fullPath` descriptor to be used as an arbitrary file read path, enabling exfiltration of the read content to the controlled write destination. Both issues are fixed in v1.17.1. |
