| Improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command in the task synthesis component in projen before 0.103.0 might allow context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary commands on a developer workstation or continuous integration runner via shell metacharacters in project configuration values and repository file names that are interpolated into generated task definitions.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 0.103.0 and then re-synthesize the project so that .projen/tasks.json is regenerated with the corrected task definitions. Upgrading alone is not sufficient because the generated task definition file is committed to the repository. |

| Affected versions of Puppet Enterprise contain a command injection vulnerability in the handling of the java_keystore_passwd parameter. An authenticated user with Puppet administrative privileges can inject arbitrary shell commands by providing a specially crafted value for this parameter, which is passed to a shell execution context without sufficient sanitization. Because the resulting commands are executed with root privileges, successful exploitation can lead to full compromise of the affected system. |

| An improper sanitization of the compression_algorithm parameter in Canonical LXD allows an authenticated, unprivileged user to execute commands as the LXD daemon on the LXD server via API calls to the image and backup endpoints. This issue affected LXD from 4.12 through 6.6 and was fixed in the snap versions 5.0.6-e49d9f4 (channel 5.0/stable), 5.21.4-1374f39 (channel 5.21/stable), and 6.7-1f11451 (channel 6.0 stable). The channel 4.0/stable is not affected as it contains version 4.0.10. |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. Prior to commit 673b978, a remote out-of-bounds read and write can occur in the SDP negotiator when the remote payload-type map maintenance feature is enabled. assign_pt_and_update_map() in pjmedia/src/pjmedia/sdp_neg.c uses payload-type numbers taken from a remote SDP offer or answer to index fixed-size internal tables without sufficient bounds validation, so a crafted remote SDP can cause memory access outside those tables. The practical impact is memory corruption and denial of service; code execution is not demonstrated. This path is only reached when PJMEDIA_SDP_NEG_MAINTAIN_REMOTE_PT_MAP is enabled. The default is disabled, so default builds are not affected; the feature is an interoperability option that integrating products may enable. This issue has been patched via commit 673b978. |

The vulnerability affects versions of the software originally distributed by ConfigServer, as well as versions of the WebPros-maintained fork that contain the vulnerable code. WebPros has addressed the vulnerability in version 16.30. Other forks or independently maintained versions of ConfigServer Security & Firewall (CSF) may also be affected and should be evaluated independently. |

By supplying newline characters within the 'nvidia.driver.capabilities' or 'nvidia.require.*' configuration values, an attacker can manipulate the generated lxc.conf file. This flaw enables the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the host system with the privileges of the LXD daemon. |

| Ladybird before commit 2f9dc7e contains a dangling-reference memory-safety flaw in its WebAssembly ESM-integration module loader. When a JavaScript function is imported into a WebAssembly module via the ESM path, WebAssemblyModule.cpp passes a stack-local Wasm::FunctionType by reference to create_host_function, whose host callback captures and later reads that reference; once the ESM link-loop iteration ends the FunctionType is destroyed, leaving the callback with a dangling reference (the normal instantiate path uses a long-lived reference and is not affected). Stale result-type data lets the host callback return an empty result vector for a statically non-empty result, so the destination register retains an attacker-influenced value that is then consumed by the WASM-GC array.set handler, which bit-casts the reference low bits to an ArrayInstance pointer after only a null check, yielding an arbitrary write. A web page can chain this into code execution in the WebContent process. Verified reachable from HTML content without any instrumentation or source modification. |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Starting in version 8.0.0 and prior to version 8.0.5, a Lua rule that registers too many flow variables can corrupt Lua detection state and may bypass Suricata's restricted Lua sandbox. This requires an affected Lua script/rule to be loaded. Excessive flow variables being registered may also cause Suricata to crash. Version 8.0.5 contains a fix. As a workaround, disable `security.lua.allow-rules` unless Lua rules are required. |
