| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: reject buckets with mismatched CRUSH ids crush_decode() stores bucket data by array slot, and the mapper later derives the per-bucket workspace index from the decoded bucket id. A malformed map can therefore make one bucket reuse another bucket's workspace by encoding an id different from -1 - slot. For uniform buckets, the second replica selection expands the source bucket's permutation into that aliased workspace buffer. If the source bucket is larger than the aliased bucket, the write runs past the smaller permutation array and can escape the kvmalloc'd CRUSH workspace. KASAN reports a slab OOB write of 4 bytes in bucket_perm_choose(). Reject buckets whose encoded id does not match their array slot. Valid CRUSH maps already use the canonical negative id corresponding to the bucket slot, so this restores the invariant expected by work->work[-1 - in->id] without changing valid map behavior. | ||||

| NL Portal Backend Libraries provide backend components for Dutch government portals that interact with residents, customers, suppliers, and partner organizations. In versions up to and including 3.0.0, deployments using the shipped default configuration exposed two GraphQL developer features without requiring authentication: the GraphiQL playground, an interactive UI for issuing GraphQL queries; and schema introspection, which lets a caller download the full description of every query, mutation, type, and argument the API supports. Anyone who could reach the `/graphiql` endpoint could open the playground in a browser, pull the full schema, and use that to map out the API and craft calls against it. By itself this does not leak user data, but it removes the guesswork from attacking the rest of the API and significantly lowers the bar for finding and exploiting other weaknesses. Version 3.0.1 patches the issue. As a workaround, override the two settings in deployed configuration. | ||||

| Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4, Angular server-side rendering (SSR) in @angular/platform-server serializes ProcessingInstruction DOM nodes inside fallback raw-content elements without escaping matching ancestor closing tags. ProcessingInstruction data escaped greater-than characters but left less-than characters untouched and did not inspect fallback ancestors, so data such as a matching closing tag prematurely terminates noscript, iframe, noembed, or noframes containers. The vulnerable nodes cannot be authored through standard Angular templates; reachability requires application or library code using inject(DOCUMENT).createProcessingInstruction with attacker-controlled data or Renderer2 DOM insertion inside a fallback container. In HTML5 RAWTEXT parsing, the premature close causes subsequent sibling elements to be interpreted as live HTML and enables arbitrary JavaScript execution in a victim's browser. This issue is fixed in versions 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4. | ||||

| morgan is an HTTP request logger middleware for Node.js. In versions before 1.12.1, its escapeLogField() function does not escape the double quote character, which delimits the quoted fields of the Apache combined log format that morgan emits. An unauthenticated remote attacker who controls a value written to a quoted field, such as the User-Agent or Referer header, can include a double quote to close that field early, so a log consumer that parses the log by field position reads attacker-supplied text as the following field. In the built-in formats this makes the recorded value differ from the value that was sent, and in custom formats that quote an attacker-controlled token before a server-controlled one it can forge values such as the response status. No newline is injected, so record separation stays intact. The issue is fixed in morgan 1.12.1, which escapes the double quote. Users should upgrade to morgan 1.12.1 or later. | ||||

| In the current development version of Eclipse aeriOS, for which no official release has yet been published, the Identity Manager (IdM) deployment included insecure default configurations and credentials for security-sensitive services. The Helm chart exposed the Keycloak service and its PostgreSQL backing database through Kubernetes NodePort services by default, while the Docker Compose deployment similarly exposed PostgreSQL on all network interfaces. The deployment included fixed default credentials for the Keycloak administrator and PostgreSQL database user, and the previous Helm chart configuration did not provide adequate secret management for these credentials. In addition, predefined application users with known credentials were provided for development and testing without sufficiently warning operators against their use in production environments. An attacker able to reach the exposed services could use the published default credentials to obtain administrative access to the Identity Manager or direct access to its database. This could allow unauthorized access to or modification of identity-management data, including users, roles, client credentials, sessions, and cryptographic material, and could enable the creation of privileged identities or tokens accepted by other aeriOS components. The issue has been addressed by generating a random Keycloak administrator password by default, managing Keycloak and PostgreSQL credentials through Kubernetes Secrets, and restricting PostgreSQL to an internal service in both the Helm chart and Docker Compose deployment. OpenLDAP is also restricted to an internal service. The predefined users intended for development and testing are retained, but the documentation now explicitly warns that their default credentials must not be used in production and that these users should be removed or their credentials changed after installation. | ||||

| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final, Netty's HttpProxyHandler constructs HTTP CONNECT requests with header validation explicitly disabled. The newInitialMessage() method creates headers using DefaultHttpHeadersFactory.headersFactory().withValidation(false), then adds user-provided outboundHeaders without any CRLF validation. This allows an attacker who can influence the outbound headers to inject arbitrary HTTP headers into the CONNECT request sent to the proxy server. | MISP contains an HTML injection vulnerability in the MISPElementHTMLFormatterTool component, which is responsible for rendering MISP element references (attributes, objects, and tags) into inline HTML during PDF report export via the convert_markdown_to_pdf module. The attribute(), objectAttribute(), object(), and tag() methods interpolated user-controlled fields (attribute type, attribute value, object name, object relation, tag name, tag colour, and tag text colour) directly into HTML templates without applying HTML entity encoding. An authenticated user with the ability to create or modify MISP attributes, objects, or tags could embed arbitrary HTML markup in these fields. When a report containing such elements was exported to PDF, the unescaped content was rendered as live HTML rather than inert text, potentially injecting script tags, breaking the document structure, or altering the visual content of the exported report. Additionally, the attribute() method contained a template with hardcoded sample values ("domain-ip" and "google.com") instead of format placeholders, meaning every plain attribute reference in a PDF displayed the sample text rather than the actual indicator value, constituting a data-integrity defect in the exported document. The vulnerability requires an authenticated actor with write access to MISP elements and a subsequent PDF export of a report referencing those elements. The security impact is primarily to the integrity of the exported document and, depending on the HTML-to-PDF rendering engine, potential execution of injected markup during the conversion step. | Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4, Angular server-side rendering (SSR) in @angular/platform-server serializes untrusted input inside template content nested in fallback raw-content elements such as noscript, iframe, noembed, and noframes. The Domino serializer's fallbackRawContentTags traversal stopped at the DocumentFragment used by template.content, so matching closing tags in xmp, style, script, comments, or text nodes were not escaped. Standard interpolation with comments or text nodes is reachable without relaxed schemas; literal xmp or style requires CUSTOM_ELEMENTS_SCHEMA or NO_ERRORS_SCHEMA, while Renderer2 imperative DOM construction is unconditionally affected. When HTML5 RAWTEXT browser parsing encounters the unescaped closing tag, it exits the fallback container and interprets trailing markup as active DOM elements, enabling arbitrary JavaScript execution. This issue is fixed in versions 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4. | ||||
